Valedictory 2010 The valedictory function was held on 30th March 2010. Mr Hemant Bagga General Manager of Ramada Caravela Resort and also Alumni of the Institute was the chief guest. Students was given awards for excellence in academics. The following were the outstanding students for the academic year 1) Mr Zavier Craft Food and Beverage Service (November-March) 2) Mr Josson Carvalho Craft Food and Beverage Service (June-December) 3) Mr Vivek Vete Craft Food Production and Patisserie 4) Ms Natassia Balsara- 3rd year BSc in H&HA.
Blood donation drive was organized by the institute on 15th January 2010. Students thronged in large number to donate blood for a valuable cause. Staff also came forward to donate blood.
Alumni reunion was organized on 24th September 2009. This year the reunion was organized out side the institute, however the final year students were addressed by the senior alumni about the changes in the hospitality industry, current trends and future prospects.
Teacher’s day is the most important day in the life of a teacher. The students of IHM Goa celebrated this day with lots of zeal and enthusiasm. The students organized games for the teachers. The lunch was a combination of continental and Indian with lots of mocktails thrown in.
